Young Thug revealed in an interview with radio host Big Boy that canceling shows and festivals due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic costs him millions of dollars. He explained that if he doesn’t do ten shows, he loses $5 million based on his usual fee of $500,000 per show. Furthermore, he said that he spends up to $2 million on quarantine-related expenses, such as providing for his family’s needs, including a penthouse and hotel stays. As a result, he loses double the amount of money he would have earned from his shows.
