According to MARTA officials, a woman jumped in front of an eastbound MARTA Blue Line train at the East Lake station late Thursday afternoon.
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (WXIA) -- According to MARTA officials, a woman jumped in front of an eastbound MARTA Blue Line train at the East Lake station at about 5 p.m. Thursday.
Spokesman Lyle Harris said the woman had been removed from the tracks. Her condition was not immediately known.
MARTA officials said a bus bridge has been set up for eastbound passengers to get around the incident, starting at the East Lake station, and ending between the Candler Park and Avondale stations.
Additional details were not immediately available.
