The Detroit Lions officially revealed their new uniforms for the 2024 season after they were initially leaked on Thursday morning.
The official unveiling also included a look at the team's new alternate helmets:

After the jerseys were leaked, the Lions subsequently shared a video of quarterback Jared Goff originally getting his first peek at the new unis and quipping he needed to "take my pictures and leak them to Twitter." Sounds like an open-and-shut case.

The team also posted a video of defensive tackle Alim McNeill lamenting how the official reveal was spoiled. He sarcastically said he appreciated the leaker "for ruining all the hard work we put in."

While the rollout didn't go smoothly, Lions fans will probably be satisfied with the finished product. The new jerseys call back to the franchise's general look during the heyday of Barry Sanders, Chris Spielman and Scott Mitchell.
