After a lot of hype and excitement, the UFC made its return to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In what will be one of the most anticipated fights of the year, the fans were in for a treat. As such, let’s take a look at UFC Vegas 42 Results + Full Fight Video Highlights.
For the main event, former Featherweight champ, Max Holloway and #3 rank Yair Rodriguez put on a slugfest for the ages. Both the fighters gave it their all inside the Octagon and rightfully won the Fight of The Night honors. Eventually, Max Holloway won via Unanimous Decision in the banger main event.
Up next we had a heavyweight co-main event. Marcos Rogerio de Lima absolutely decimated his opponent, Ben Rothwell with a flurry of heavy punches. For a moment, it appeared as though Rothwell momentarily lost consciousness and the referee rightfully stopped the fight early in Round 1.
Moreover, we also saw Miguel Baeza take on Khaos Williams in one of the most explosive fights of the night. Whilst the pair traded heavy shots, it was Williams who was able to connect with a heavy hand and put down Baeza. It was an exemplary performance that won him a Performance of the Night bonus as well.
Also on the card were Felicia Spencer vs. Leah Letson and Song Yadong vs Julio Arce. That sums up your main card for the night.
