She was raised in the San Fernando Valley of California and later moved to New Jersey to pursue her passion for food.
The couple met at the Culinary Institute of America, where both had enrolled with their passion for food after completing their respective degrees. They were enrolled in the same program at the institute, and their schedule also aligned with one another.
However, brewing romance was not easy for the couple. After they got married after their externship, they moved off campus and started living together and had to attend every class together, but the school fought the couple and tried to divide their classes, according to Edible Brooklyn. They stayed strong, and their romance flourished.
