Scarlett Davis's Women's Soccer Recruiting Profile

I am writing to express my interest in playing soccer at the college level.  I began playing soccer when I was four in a recreational league and started playing with a club team when I was six. I played other organized sports including basketball and baseball (coach pitch) and other sports such as football, softball, and golf recreationally. I continued to play organized basketball as the starting point guard on my team until I was ten. However, I knew that soccer was my true passion.

One of my greatest strengths as a player is my field vision. My experience as a point guard taught me to always look for the open player or the best pass. I'm probably best known for my speed and finishing ability, but I’ve learned that I can make an impact on a game even without scoring.  Although I primarily play on offense, I pride myself on being adaptable and always ready to contribute to the team's success. I understand the importance of communication and collaboration on the field, and I consistently strive to be a positive and motivating force for my teammates.

In addition to my technical skills, I am a dedicated student who understands the importance of balancing academics with athletics. I am confident that my discipline and time management skills will allow me to excel both in the classroom and on the soccer field. I am committed to maintaining high academic standards while pursuing my athletic goals.
