Personal Statement
Hi my name is Samir O'Neill, my love for football is the same as the love I have for my family. Additionally, I’ve only been playing football for the last 3 years primarily because I’ve been studying Martial Arts since I was 6 years old. I currently hold a 2nd degree Black Belt with 2 National Championships along with participating in numerous Tournaments and winning Grand Champion in my division. My Martial Arts training has come extremely handy in the game of football allowing me to practice focus, discipline and control.
My goal is to start my own business using my leadership capabilities which have provided me growth and development throughout the years. I plan to use my skills to keep me on track as I challenge myself to be a better me everyday.
I am a true athlete! I am motivated, determined and focused. I am a leader and I exemplify that in my character and everyday life. Although I haven’t spent as much time playing football as most of my counterparts I’m healthier and come with less BAD habits. I look forward to being coached by the BEST coaches who will challenge and push me to my potential. I have good vision, I am quick on my feet and I am open and eager to receive advice and new strategies to prefect my skills.
