Personal Statement
I was born in Irvine, CA, and moved back to Taichung, Taiwan to study when I was young. I started track in 5th grade, and it has been my passion since then. I tried different events including shot put, long jump, triple jump, high jump, running events, etc throughout my career, and I found that I'm a fairly outstanding multi-event athlete.
I aim to compete in collegiate track & field at a competitive academic institution. I’ve always strived to achieve excellence both in and out of the classroom, and wish to challenge myself as a DI/DIII student-athlete. Business, economics, and international relations have been my primary major choices, and I would love to bring my passion to a world-class university. I’m very involved in school, but also dedicate leisure time to self-interest and family closure. I look forward to competing as a track athlete in the fall of 2023 for a world-class school athletically and academically!
