The Rogers County sheriff has been investigating the Owasso murder-suicide case since reporting that someone found a man and woman dead on Monday, 3rd April 2023, at around 4:30 am. People reported the couple to be in their 60s.
The apparent suicide murder in an Owasso neighborhood occurred near South 4050 Rd and East 116th Street North.
Someone discovered the director of security at Tulsa Junior College and his wife dead in their Owasso area home.
The man brutally allegedly killed his wife before committing suicide, as per reports.

According to the couple’s kids, they read disturbing text messages from their parents early on Monday and called the Rodgers County Sheriff at around 8 am.
Later, Police found notes posted on the front and back doors advising the couple’s 17-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter not to enter the locked house but instead to contact Owasso Police.
The investigators have not revealed the couple’s identities; they claimed that there were problems before the incident. As a law enforcement Officer, Jenkins said in his statement.
“Reports are that they’ve had some issues here recently,” “It appears the husband shot his wife and then took his own life.”
Further, he said, “We are only beginning to scratch the surface of the problem with mental illness. We collaborate with mental health professionals to engage with our community, but this is just one that slipped through the cracks”.
Investigators are still trying to figure out the reason behind the Owassi murder suicide case.
Furthermore, the neighbors also claimed to be unaware. According to the couple’s neighbor, Guzman, the pair seemed content and healthy.
He said, “I was fixing to go to work, came out and all the patrols were out here,” he added, “It stopped me dead in my tracks because of the concern.”
He also claimed that the pair sent him and his wife a care package on the day they arrived to welcome them to the neighborhood.
As per his statement, they were always kind and cheerful, and he had just seen them walking hand in hand. Further, he told don’t look down on them for what happened because they were beautiful and great people.
