Personal Statement
I'm Jeremy Floyd, a shooting guard and a two year starter for Northside high school in Columbus, Ga. I am 6"2 and weigh about 160 pounds. In the past season (2011-2012), I averaged 12 points. 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals a game for the patriots. I helped my team to a 3rd place finish in the Regional finals, and we lost in the 1st round of state to Ware County. That season was a big improvement for our team. It helped us improved physically and mentally and we now have great chemistry. I am a very coachable student-athlete who is dedicated and loves the game. I work very hard on and off the court; I am a good teammate and leader and i love getting everyone involved in the game. I love to learn in the classroom; I have taken honors and AP classes during my high school career. My GPA is a 3.0 and I take my school work very seriously. After I graduate, I plan to attend a college that provides a good academic program. I plan to major in Biology, where I will work hard and try to achieve my dreams of being a Nurse.
