Personal Statement
I've played baseball since I was a child, and have loved every minute of it! Baseball has helped shape me into the person I am today. It showed me that no matter what the situation is, it is better to stay positive and smile through it. Growing up I have primarily played center field and second base, but I am now pitching since that is the position I have been projected to play in College, so I have little wear-and-tear on my arm. I look to follow in my dad's and cousins' footsteps and pitch at the Collegiate level. I am an Honors student, a member of the anti-bullying team at my high school, captain of the Volleyball team and hold down two jobs. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs and I am proud of it. I work hard at what I do and try to help others around me improve by being a great leader and teammate, and I believe I can make your program better by contributing to your roster as a student athlete. My pitching repertoire consists of a low 80's fastball, curve ball and palm ball. My goal is to play at the highest level possible in conjunction with getting a great education to further myself. I want to be a police officer after I graduate and my playing career is complete. Do you think I have what it takes to pitch for you? I do!
