Glass Onion Killer Spoiler – Warning! Leaked Information

Director Rian Johnson has done it again with Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, cleverly building on the success of Knives Out.

This time, detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is called to investigate a case at the luxurious retreat owned by Miles Bron (Edward Norton).

Unexpectedly, the intended victim of the murder, Miles’ friend Duke (Dave Bautista), consumes what was meant to be a poisoned drink for Miles.

As it turns out, Mile’s turned murderous himself in an attempt to prevent Cody from blackmailing him into losing everything he had worked so hard to build.

However, Johnson leaves little hints and clues throughout the movie that allow us to trace back our confusion and ultimately make sense of Miles’ motive.

Johnson weaves an intriguing mystery once again as we wind our way down the garden path to its revealing ending.

Duke leaks the Pineapple issue in Glass Onion

As the group began to socialize, seemingly innocuous choices were made that set off a chain of events.

Almost from the moment, Duke had brought up his allergy to pineapple, it seemed that Miles was ready to take action when he started concocting a drink for Birdie, which included pineapple juice.

An unsuspecting Duke fell for the bait and, after taking Miles’ glass, ended up succumbing to poisoning.

In hindsight, it appears obvious that this was done intentionally, which makes it all the more chilling given their history as friends.

Duke’s text is a red flag

Duke’s last words presented a puzzling conundrum to Miles.

Rather than showing Whiskey, his girlfriend, he chose to show Miles something on his phone, claiming it was a game-changer and revealing his desire for Miles to help boost his online career.

The implication was that Duke had uncovered new evidence which could potentially implicate Miles in the killing of their friend, Andi.

By giving Miles this cryptic message before passing away, Duke provided an intriguing clue for why Andi was killed and who could be responsible.

Duke’s gun and phone go missing in Glass Onion

After Duke was murdered, it became clear that Miles played a role in the crime.

His proximity to Duke’s body suggested he was trying to conceal evidence of his involvement, specifically by removing the gun and phone from the crime scene.

It is assumed that he wanted to stop any alerts about Andi’s death from being sent out, which would lead back to him as the perpetrator.

Evidently, he also took the gun with him as a precaution in case Helen was able to expose his scheme on the island.

Based on this information, Miles’ guilt in this incident is increasingly apparent.

Miles interrupts Duke by the pool

Earlier, when they were all in the pool, Duke brought up how Miles almost ran him over outside Andi’s home. Discreetly, Miles steered the conversation away from his visit to Andi’s house and towards Anderson Cooper’s place.

It was clear that Miles wanted no one linking him to Andi and her residence, as it could potentially reveal his real motive of taking evidence that incriminated him in stealing her tech empire.

Duke’s words and actions, such as pushing Whiskey as a s*x bait to make them superstars, gave insight that he had become someone Miles needed to get rid of.
