Personal Statement
I am 5'9" defensive back/ offensive guard at McCluer High School in St. Louis, Mo. I have prior experience with playing the line back and fullback positions and would be open to playing those positions in college. I have a 2.22 GPA and I am currently working hard and I am on track to bring it up to at least a 2.5 by the end of the school year. I am also studying daily in preparation for my upcoming ACT Test date which is on February 10, 2018. I currently weigh 230lbs.
I desire to play football in college because I truly enjoy being on the field and being a part of a team that works together to accomplish a goal. It is a passion that I would like to pursue during college. I know that it takes a lot of hard work and determination and I am willing to commit to whatever it may require to achieve this goal. During the summer months, I work on conditioning via running, studying play schemes, weight lifting ...etc. at least four to five days per week to ensure that I am ready to go when our football season starts. This enables me to be in great condition when the football season starts. I aspire to be the best and that requires going above and beyond what is expected.
I would like attend a school that have a great balance between my academics and football. I am open to a variety of different schools but I do personally prefer one with a stable coaching team and courses in which I can major in Business Management/Administration, Sports Management, and/or Communication: Journalism. I am open to learning from others so an environment that promotes the sharing of information that will help me to make a positive impact would be awesome. I plan to look through all opportunities and decide on the one that works the best for me and my family.
