Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson was one of the favorites to land a head coaching gig this offseason after helping to orchestrate his team's explosive attack en route to the NFC Championship Game.

But he reportedly chose to remain in Detroit despite interest from teams like the Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks, and that made musical artist and hardcore Lions' fan Eminem pretty happy:

Getting Johnson back is a major boon for a young Lions team that looks primed to be a contender for many seasons to come.

Under his watch, the team ranked fifth in scoring (27.1 PPG) and third in yardage (394.8 YPG) this past season, while Jared Goff (4,575 yards, 30 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 67.3 completion percentage, 30 sacks taken) had arguably the best season of his career.

Plus, Johnson avoided having to face the wrath of Eminem, who has been known to go hard at anyone in his crosshairs during his hip-hop career. Call it a win-win.
