Doyle Bramhall II is an American musician known for his blues rock style. He was born in December 1968 and raised in Texas. Bramhall’s father was a drummer, and he began playing guitar at a young age. Despite being left-handed, he plays a right-handed guitar that is strung upside-down.
Bramhall gained early experience touring with The Fabulous Thunderbirds when he was 18. He later co-founded the blues rock band Arc Angels and released his first solo album in 1996. He has since released several more albums and collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Eric Clapton, Elton John, and Roger Waters.
Bramhall is also a producer and has worked with Sheryl Crow and Eric Clapton. He has opened for Clapton on tour and performed at his Crossroads Guitar Festival.
