Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Cauy, my family call me Ky. I am an athlete for Ramah High School, Ramah, New Mexico I am a member of the National Honor Roll society. I was also a Devil Pup with the United State Marines. My grade point average is a 3.8 or above. I am the Student Body President of Ramah High School. I am also a member of the 4H program. I have participated in high school sports since I was in 8th grade. The sports I have participated in are as follows: Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Track/field and Cheer. I have been on the Varsity team with all 5 sports. I was on the Cross Country varsity team since 8th grade, I received, All District Cross Country runner and Most Valuable Cross Country Runner. My teammates and I have made it to state 5 years taking 3rd twice in Cross Country for 2A. In Volleyball, I played 4 years of my high school career, during my sophomore year, my teammates and I won the New Mexico Class 2A State Title. During my Junior and Senior year, I was all district hitter for Volleyball and made the All star team for Volleyball.
I love to play basketball. I have been playing since I was 6 years old, I have played in several youth tournaments/ high school tournaments and received several All Tourney. I am a point/shooting guard, I am a captain for my basketball team for 2 years, I am team leader. I am quick, I can handle the ball. I can make 3 pointers. I am 100% free throw shooter. Defense is my passion in playing basketball as well as teamwork. During my high school career, I have received All district during my freshman, sophomore, and senior year. I have received all state during my junior year. I am currently leading the New Mexico Class 2A in scoring and stealing. I am coachable. I have played with many athletes in the State of New Mexico. I am dependable. I am outgoing. I am a hard worker.
After high school, I plan of studying Physical Therapy majoring in Kinesiology. I am very excited to play basketball for a college. This would be a great opportunity and of course a life time experiences for me. I will work hard. Thank you Cauy
