Personal Statement
“In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity” -Albert Einstein. These words have encouraged me throughout my life. My love of baseball started at a very young age and only intensified as I progressed from little league through to high school and travel ball. Living in a small town on the eastern end of Long Island, I was one of the first players to join a travel team taking the leap to competitive baseball. Throughout my years of playing the sport, there have been many challenges I have had to overcome, but each has been a learning opportunity to grow both mentally and physically. Baseball has taught me to be a ‘LEADER’ both on and off the field. Learning Loyalty, Excellence, Accountability, Dedication, Enthusiasm, and Resilience, baseball has made me a better person, teammate, and player. I look forward to playing in college, continuing the love of the game, and taking advantage of each opportunity.
