Personal Statement
I’ve always had natural endurance and stamina, which is what inspired me to join track in middle school. I am extremely passionate about long-distance running and always try my best, whether it’s in practice or at meets. Being a team player and role model is very important to me. I’m very competitive, which allows me to always maintain focus on my goals. Academics are also a major focus of mine. I keep a high GPA and participate in high-level classes. Aside from track, I am also involved in my school’s soccer team, where I work hard to maintain my starting position at a varsity level, and focus on leading my team. I want to attend a college where I will be able to encounter a challenge in both athletics and academics, and I am open to trying new things to achieve these goals. I strive to be an excellent athlete with outstanding leadership skills, making me a great addition to your team.
