Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. I started in T-ball and continued through Westland Hill Little League in Albany, NY every season until I was 13 years old. After I completed my time at Westland Hills, I played for Capital Storm and Zaloga Post through my middle school years. I continued to play for Zaloga while I played Varsity baseball for CBA. After High School, I went through a surgery for my knee. After I was cleared I trained and got myself back in shape to go play for Hudson Valley Community College. I had a great Freshmen year and I am looking forward to my Sophomore year. I love the sport with all I am. It is in my blood. I am dedicated and committed to seeing my career grow and continue through my college years.
I am a left handed hitter and a right handed thrower. I play Center Field and 1st Base.
I am seeking to further my education in pursuing a degree in Excise Science. I am a student athlete who knows the value of staying balanced, grounded and dedicated to my goals both on the field and off. I am always seeking to better myself both as a student and as an athlete. I am driven to do my best. Focused on the path set before me. Dedicated to what I have to do to achieve my dreams.
I understand the commitment it takes to achieve that goal and I am ready to take on the responsibility that comes with that goal. I am true to my word and hold that as a valuable commodity as part of my character and who I am. I believe in myself and my ability to get the job done.
