TEMPO.CO, Bogot - Attorney General H.M Prasetyo said that he is ready to carry out the Supreme Court's ruling that grants judicial review of misappropriation of the Supersemar scholarship fund. "If it's already [stated in a] decision, then why not carry it out?," said Prasetyo on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
"If it is related to a crime, it will be enforced. If it is [legal and binding], it has to be carried out [...]," Prasetyo said.
The Supreme Court granted the judicial review filed by the Attorney General's Office on Supersemar Foundation scholarship fund misappropriation. The funds that should have been given to students were instead given to several companies, including PT Bank Duta (US$420 million), PT Sempati Air (Rp13.173 billion) and PT Kiani Lestari and Kiani Sakti (Rp150 billion).
