2023 NFL Draft by the numbers: 15 QBs, 3 punters and Alabama’s first No. 1 pick

The 2023 NFL Draft has come and gone. And it’s wild to think that quarterback Bryce Young is the first Alabama player to be drafted No. 1 in the history of the process. I mean, even LSU has the Crimson Tide topped given JaMarcus Russell helped the Tigers in that aspect. But facts are facts.

Here’s a look at some fun numbers as we leave the 2023 NFL Draft:

1: Alabama, for all of its prestige, had its first No. 1 pick with Young going to the Panthers.

14: Where our draft guru Dane Brugler slotted quarterback Will Levis heading into the draft. Levis went to the Titans at No. 33.

Levis ultimately went to Tennessee in the second round.
