What is Erika Lust’s role on Mums Make Porn?

Erika Lust is on hand throughout the Channel 4 series to help the mums get to grips with the world of adult movies, which is extremely alien to them.

She has endless amounts of contacts in the industry and helps to hook the mothers up with whatever they need, be it professional performers such as Roxy Keogh or adult scriptwriters like Dick Bush.

In the final episode, Erika will watch the debut screening of the Mums Make Porn film and decide whether it is good enough to go up online.

-Repost @cecile_hoodie (thank you for exposing this with your powerful art!): “I recently discovered the film director @erikalust, who makes adult films from a women's perspective, highlighting female pleasure. Despite her beautiful, artistic content, I learned that she has been banned from Vimeo, Youtube, shadow-banned on Twitter, and had a lot of pics removed from Instagram that were far from sexual. In my case, I've only had one censored pic since the existence of my account. It was a closeup photo, white cotton panties with the word "no" on it, and in the caption I talked about the importance of consent. I never understood this censorship, since there are accounts of very influential men with completely misogynistic and demeaning photos of women. Women are shown as objects, only there to highlight the chauvinism of men with disgusting intentions. Yet these men seem safe from censorship, showing the true hypocrisy of the system! Change is not going to come easy, we have to keep raising our voice.” ⚡️ #femalepleasurematters #biasedbanning
