Josh Jacobs has four siblings, three brothers, Isaiah Jacobs, Christopher Jacobs, and Marty Jacobs Jr, and one elder sister Shaleya Jacobs.
The brother-sister Jacobs hold Filipino American nationality. Filipino ancestry comes from their paternal grandmother.
The siblings grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their childhood was troubled, and they suffered greatly due to their parent's separation.
After football practice, Josh would shower in the locker rooms; his father would pick him up and drive around looking for a space on the side of the road to park for the night.
As Josh explains, he used to sing with his father and brothers when his older brothers would always draw.
Isaiah Jacobs
Josh Jacobs's younger brother Isaiah Jacobs, age 20, was born on December 11, 2001, in Tulsa, OK. The athletic brother also plays as a running back for the Maryland Terrapins'
He is the Nation’s No. 35 ranked running back player. The 5'10'' tall player is the Sixth-ranked player out of Oklahoma.
He has attended Owasso High School and helped Owasso HS to the Oklahoma Class 6A-I state championship as a sophomore.
Jacobs, a former four-star prospect, was a member of Locksley's first complete class as Maryland's head coach. Jacobs had 177 running yards and 69 receiving yards at College Park in portions of two seasons, but he never found the end zone.
In 2020, Isaiah chose Maryland over the University of Michigan, Oklahoma State University, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. He got a full athletic scholarship from Maryland.
Recently he received offers from MY CITY Tulsa University. They offered him when he was a 4-star prospect in the 2020 class.
Shaleya Renne Jacobs
Shaleya Renne Jacobs, age 21, is Josh Jacobs's older sister. She is married to David Renne and has one son named Braxton.
Like her brother, Shaleya also used to have an interest in sports. She used to play football and also grew up playing football with her brothers.
Marty Jacobs Jr
Marty Jacobs, age 14, is the youngest member of the Jacobs family. He was named after his father's name.
He was there with his brother after a college signing day event for Tulsa Public Schools at the Education Service Center in Tulsa on February 3, 2016.
The brothers had shadowed childhood and did not have to live in, but they managed to live in the cars and compromise whatever situation.
The siblings laughed together even on the worst nights when they didn’t have enough food to eat or any clean clothes to wear to school the next day.
Christopher Jacobs
Christopher Jacobs is his half-brother from his parent's previous relationship. He is also the oldest sibling of Jacobs.
The Jacobs brother together faced many difficulties growing up. But they never gave up and kept shining.
