Tyren Brown's Men's Basketball Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My goals and aspirations as a collegiate player is of course to win championships and seek for a professional career God willingly. Although, my quest to become a Dynamic Disciple of God and keep faith no matter the ups and downs, bumps and bruises, pressures and temptations of college and life in general is one of my main goals. I really am striving to become the type of player and person that can make others better around me, whether that is me being a teammate that only wants the best you to put your all out on the court, or whether that's being there for someone in need of assistance or just a friend to help through life. My tenacious and competitive attitude and mentality, my ability to thrive in tense situations, my humility, as well as my grit to become better and outwork anyone on the court no matter if one may be better or worse than me makes me a great candidate for their team. I believe great players are not only able to showcase their spectacular talents, but able to make others around feel unified as one and make them better. With my 4.2 GPA and caring mentality I play a huge part throughout my community and school to assist those in need. I play as an active member in my Church as well as in the Spanish Ministry assisting those who need help in understanding the sermons. My faith is what differentiates me from others, because it guides my actions as I believe nothing is impossible, why not me, and anything worth fighting for is supposed to be challenging!
