Personal Statement

I started playing tee ball when I was in kindergarten. I tried many other sports like football, basketball, and soccer, but baseball was the sport that caught my attention the most. As a kid, I went to many baseball games and I watched as many games as I could on television. My passion for the game continued to grow.

My high school academic goals are to continue to take challenging courses so that I am prepared as best I can be for college academics. I feel that my strong academic background will be a benefit to my success in the college classroom as well as on the playing field. Many of my coaches have complimented me as a coachable player. I trust my coaches and their decisions and I always do my best to learn from their advice. As a college student athlete, I believe that my ability to listen to my coaches will add to my success on and off the field.
