Tammy Slaton revealed her late husband, Caleb, is the “best thing to ever happen to her” in a clip by Entertainment Tonight. 1000-lb Sisters star Caleb lies in a bed and tells Tammy that he can’t wait to get out of the facility and get home. This is because he couldn’t have private time with his wife.
Tammy and Caleb faced strict rules
Tammy and Caleb Willingham were not allowed to sleep in the same bed in rehab because of “safety reasons.” However, they were able to stay in the same room, but just with two separate beds.
“It’s like our first apartment,” Tammy says as the camera shows her and Caleb in the same room. “Still kind of feel like roommates.” Back in the room, Caleb joked Tammy has a “ride coming.”
However, it didn’t take Tammy long to be completely herself. She described passing gas in front of him as “magical” because he is “someone that she’s comfortable with” – but their limitations are a challenge.
Caleb said they ‘make people sick’
Caleb revealed on the show everybody says him and Tammy are such a cute couple. In a 1000-lb Sisters confessional, he added: “In my opinion, we’re the type of couple who makes people sick.”
After saying they love each other, Tammy reveals their lack of privacy due to people coming in and out of the room to assist them with living, and being in the facility, is a challenge.
“I think one of the hardest parts about being newlyweds and in a facility,” Tammy says, “is, the privacy. Not only I mean, people don’t knock. But every time we turn around there’s somebody there.”
‘He’s the best thing that’s ever happened’
Tammy gushed, revealing Caleb was the “best thing that has ever happened to her”. “It’s been two months since I got married,” Tammy says in a side interview. “I’m really happy with Caleb.”
She also said: “I love spending time with Caleb. He’s someone I’m comfortable with. I mean, if I’m farting in front of him, that says a lot. I’ll burp in front of you all day long, but to pass gas? That’s magical.”
Caleb tragically died six months after he tied the knot with Tammy. Back in July, following his death, Tammy said Caleb “showed her real love and happiness”.
