I am a former college football athlete and and was able to coach in the NFL, NCAA college and High School level. Been able to create and build relationships with everyone that I’ve coached to help them reach their goals in life on and off the field. Main reason why I join NCSA was to help student athletes all over the world reach their goal of playing at the next level.
I have coached football at the high school level in cities including Seattle, WA, Houston, TX and Tampa, FL. I had the privilege to spend two years coaching the football team at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska NCAA Division II. At the same time, I was also earning my masters degree in Sports Management, working and studying both in a full-time capacity. Not only was this an opportunity for me to stretch my limitations and build my own time management skills, but I was also able to apply those skills in a mentorship role to athletics students, assisting them with their academic studies. In addition, I sat on the SAAC committee and, as well, assisted in the operations of sports related college events throughout the community with volunteering at multiple locations.
One of the most exciting opportunities that I’ve had in my career was coaching at the professional level with the Seahawks for two consecutive seasons, providing private lessons and helping to run programs including NFL Play 60, USA football player camps, and coaching clinics.
