Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is reportedly drawing comparisons to some of the NFL's best wideouts over the past few decades.

According to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, one personnel source compared Harrison's hands to those of former Arizona Cardinals and current Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Others reportedly noted that Harrison shares traits with Hall of Famer Randy Moss, Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Mike Evans and A.J. Green, who was a seven-time Pro Bowler with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Harrison, who is the son of legendary Indianapolis Colts wide receiver and Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, is widely expected to be the first wideout off the board in April's 2024 NFL draft.

His final two seasons at Ohio State were nearly identical and helped him establish himself as one of the hottest prospects in football.

Harrison recorded 77 receptions for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2022, and he followed it up with 67 grabs for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns, plus a rushing touchdown last season.

He also finished fourth in the 2023 Heisman Trophy voting behind only LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and Oregon quarterback Bo Nix.

The Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders and New England Patriots own the top three picks in the draft, and all of them have a need a quarterback, which means USC's Caleb Williams, North Carolina's Drake Maye and Daniels could come off the board in some order with the first three selections.

That would leave the Arizona Cardinals with the opportunity to take Harrison fourth overall, and it seems likely that they would do so since their top wide receiver in 2023, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, is set to hit free agency this offseason.

Harrison would give quarterback Kyler Murray the type of big-time option in the passing game that he lacked last season after the organization released Hopkins.

Per The Draft Network, Harrison came in at 6'3" and 209 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine this week, putting him on the large side as far as NFL receivers go.

Of the wide receivers he has been compared to, Moss, Hopkins, Evans and Green all used their size to their advantage throughout their careers and made their fair share of contested catches down the field because of it.

Harrison has the speed and route-running ability to get open consistently, but even when he doesn't, his size and physicality should allow him to be productive at the next level.

The 2024 draft class is stacked with high-end talent at wideout, including Washington's Rome Odunze, LSU's Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. and Oregon's Troy Franklin, among many others.

There is potential for several wide receivers out of this draft to emerge as No. 1 wideouts and stars for their teams, but none of them seem to possess the type of all-around skill set that Harrison brings to the table.
