As PlayStation announced yesterday, we've just gotten a look at the PlayStation 5 (PS5) technical specs in a deep dive by Mark Cerny, the lead architect of the PS4 and PS5. We'd known some of these things in the past, such as the inclusion of a custom SSD, alongside Navi and Zen 2 architecture from AMD. While it might seem like a reaction to the Xbox Series X specs being revealed recently, PlayStation has explained on Twitter that this was originally meant to be a talk held at GDC.

As of right now, the PS5 is still scheduled to release sometime in Holiday 2020.
