Phillies' Updated Trade Targets with 2024 MLB Deadline Approaching | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

Luis Robert Jr. signed a six-year, $50 million extension with the Chicago White Sox before making his MLB debut in 2020, and with a pair of club options he is potentially under club control through 2027.

When healthy, he is a legitimate superstar, and he showed that last year when he posted a 129 OPS+ with 36 doubles, 38 home runs, 80 RBI and 20 steals in 145 games, earning his first All-Star selection while racking up 5.0 WAR and winning Silver Slugger honors.

Will the Phillies be willing to part with Andrew Painter, Mick Abel, Aiden Miller or Justin Crawford? It will likely take at least one and possibly two guys from that top-tier prospect group to get a deal done.
