Personal Statement
I am a 6' .05” 180 lb wide receiver / corner back from North Caldwell, NJ. I am a 3rd year starter on our varsity team at West Essex high school where I am a team captain and have earned the following: First Team All Conference, First Team All County, and Honorable Mention All-State. I am also a 3rd year starter on varsity lacrosse where I play midfield, and have been named captain for senior year. I have a 3.7 GPA and scored a 1280 SAT and a 27 ACT.
I am looking for a university where I will have the opportunity to pursue my dream of playing football at the next level, as well as pursue a superior education. I am extremely coachable, explosive on the field, have a great read of the field, and contribute all I have to the team. Something that sets me apart from other student athletes is my tremendous work ethic. I am first to get to the field and last to leave it, I take pride in setting an example for my teammates. My drive to excel and succeed sets me apart from others both on the football field and in the classroom. I am an honor student, taking a course load with high academic rigor. My goal is to compete at the higher level, improve my skills, and to make a big impact on the team I am a part of. I would prefer to go to a school on the east coast, although I will consider all opportunities from all universities.
