Personal Statement
My goals and aspirations for my future, like any other teenager, change constantly. I know I would like to go into the fields of chemistry and math, and for a while, I have considered chemical engineering. What makes me a good candidate is that I always work hard, especially because I'm not a natural athlete. I also am a team player, and that's why I love the sport I do; it's team-based, and the success we produce as players aren't based on individual skill, rather the team chemistry and our combined abilities. What makes me different from other recruits is that I will always value effort highly, and the time invested; not just in games, but in practices and team events as well. I also am different in athletics because as I said, I do not have natural athletic ability, so I will always have to push myself to be successful. Academically, I put the same philosophy as I do my sport; my effort shows in my performance as a student.
