Suffice it to say Luka Dončić is ready for his first NBA Finals appearance.

The Dallas Mavericks star dropped a hype video Wednesday from the team's playoff run ahead of Thursday's Game 1 matchup against the Boston Celtics:

Dončić's video made a point of including coach Jason Kidd saying the Mavericks "haven't achieved anything" as they embark on their goal of winning an NBA championship. Dallas has reached the conference finals two of the last three seasons on the back of Dončić's brilliance, but the All-Star guard will head into his first Finals as a heavy underdog.

The Celtics are listed as a -225 favorite as they look to finally get over the hump after more than a half-decade of falling just short.

Dallas is making its first Finals appearance since 2011. That Finals saw Dirk Nowitzki lead a heavy underdog Mavericks team to an upset victory over the Miami Heat in LeBron James' first season with the franchise. The triumph cemented Nowitzki as a Dallas sports legend and is one of the most impressive title runs of the 21st century.
