Personal Statement
Soccer has been my passion playing as a committed goalie since I was about ten years old, although I have been playing since I was five. Over the years I have played year around. In the spring I played for SSC teams and am currently playing for AFC premier in Cheshire, CT. In the fall I play for my Varsity high school team, and in the winter in play for the club teams, my high school team, and fill in for the boys’ high school team when needed. I play whenever I get the opportunity, and I love playing with my peers and being part of a team.
Of course, the most part of my college experience will be my academic career and preparing for my future. I will continue to make this a priority in my senior year with a full course load including AP classes. Outside of the classroom I am a class officer and member of the National Honors Society and the Blue Key Club. During my summers I am a full time YMCA camp counselor.
I am the older of two kids in my family and my family has always been very active. My father is a great athlete and played lacrosse at Siena College. My dream is to continue the family tradition as a collegiate athlete and to aspire to be best I can be academically, athletically, and personally.
