Fleury's Goaltending Valuable for Penguins' Playoff Hopes
Fleury was one of Pittsburgh's most valuable players at the start of the season, despite the team's slow start, as KDKA TV's Bob Pompeani pointed out:

The 31-year-old has been a familiar face in the Penguins' goal over the past 12 seasons, winning a Stanley Cup in 2009.
Per ESPN.com's Scott Cullen, Fleury has been a savior at times for Pittsburgh:
Since the start of the 2010-2011 season, he ranks fifth in goaltender point shares, a reflection of a goaltender with an above-average save percentage (.917) while being one of three goaltenders to play more than 300 games in that time. Fleury has been really good for the Penguins early this season...that performance has kept Pittsburgh afloat while they try to sort out their offensive struggles.
This season, Fleury has been putting together a career year, despite the team's win-loss record, which is at a respectable 17-15-3. Through 25 games, he is on pace for new career bests in save percentage (.925) and goals-against average (2.29).
