LSU 21, Mississippi State 19—FINAL
The No. 14 LSU Tigers held on to defeat No. 25 Mississippi State by a score of 21-19 on Saturday night in Starkville.
The Tigers dominated the first half of this game behind sophomore running back Leonard Fournette. Fournette finished with 159 yards and three scores.
Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott, who passed for 335 yards, led an impressive fourth-quarter comeback for the Bulldogs, but ultimately it wasn't enough. Devon Bell's 51-yard field-goal attempt went wide right, and LSU escaped with an impressive road victory.
