Veteran flight attendant Kay Carpenter in the gallery of the plane she boarded on Wednesday, bound for Japan. Wednesday was the 30th anniversary of Delta's first transatlantic flight. Carpenter, a Memphis native who lives in Tucker, was on that flight.
