Jurgen Klopp has escaped a touchline ban after he was shown a red card during Liverpool’s recent Premier League victory over Manchester City.
The Liverpool manager has been fined £30,000, however, after accepting an improper conduct charge.
Klopp was sent off after shouting at assistant referee Gary Beswick for not flagging for a foul on Mohamed Salah during the 1-0 victory at Anfield.

The 55-year-old later said his outburst was “about emotion” and acknowledged he went “over the top”, but insisted that he had not disrespected the official.
The FA said in a statement on Thursday: “Jurgen Klopp has been fined £30,000 for breaching FA Rule E3 during Liverpool FC’s Premier League match against Manchester City FC on Sunday 16 October 2022.
“The manager accepted that his behaviour during the 86th minute was improper, and an independent Regulatory Commission imposed his sanction during a hearing.
“This sanction is subject to appeal by either Jurgen Klopp or The FA following receipt of the independent Regulatory Commission’s written reasons.”
The fine means Klopp will be on the touchline as normal when Liverpool host Leeds United in their next Premier League match.
The FA do have the right to appeal the decision if they think the sanction is too soft.
Liverpool are eighth in the Premier League table after an erratic start to the new season. They trail league leaders Arsenal by 12 points.
