Josh Robert Thompson is an American actor, voice actor, impressionist, and comedian born in Cleveland, Ohio in March 1975. He is best known for his work on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, where he provided many character voices and impersonations.
Thompson’s most notable role on the show was providing the voice of Geoff Peterson as well as controlling the robot’s movements. He is also known for his celebrity impressions of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert De Niro, Wilford Brimley, Sylvester Stallone, Morgan Freeman, Willie Nelson, and Matthew McConaughey.
Thompson made many appearances on the Howard Stern Show, as well as other radio shows. He appeared in advertisements for More Than insurance doing his Morgan Freeman impression for a character called More Than Freeman.
