John ‘Jack’ Tomchik Obituary, Death – John C. Tomchik was a beloved firefighter and member of the Wilkes-Barre City Firefighters IAFF Local 104 community, and their loss is a great loss. At the Corcoran Funeral Home tonight, members of L104 stood as an honor guard amid deep reverence.

Over the course of 36 years, Jack Tomchik worked his way up the ranks of the Wilkes-Barre Fire Department, eventually becoming the respected Deputy Chief.
