Following the brutal murders that ravaged the Stockton area, detectives had hoped to find a lead in other cities with unsolved cases of similar nature.
Desperately searching for a link between Chicago and Stockton, investigators ultimately found no evidence connecting the two locations. Authorities have since reported that after investigation, police do not suspect any connection between the killings in both cities.
As of now, officials are continuing investigations into both cities in their pursuit to bring justice to victims and bring closure to respective communities.
Bringing the added attention of two police departments, Silva has revealed that there are suspicions that a single person was responsible for four shooting incidents in West Rogers.
Chicago Police connected a .40-caliber gun to the first two shootings, which caused injury to multiple people.
The third and fourth incidents came shortly afterward but, fortunately, did not result in any casualties. However, due to the sudden surge of attention following the first two cases, it is suspected that the original perpetrator may have disposed of their gun between all three
shootings, leading authorities to believe then another individual may have been involved in the third and fourth occurrences.
Ballistic testing was conducted in relation to the Stockton serial killings and connected six of the seven attacks together, all of which were fatal.
The surviving victim recalled that their assailant had a height between 5’10” and 6’2″. The attacks in Stockton occurred over a 14-month period, beginning April 10, 2021, in Oakland and concluding September 27, 2022, in Stockton.
Unsurprisingly, the link to the Rogers Park shootings remains unclear due to a lack of ballistic evidence.
Stockton’s police chief has made a bold statement about the pattern of attacks taking place in the area.
Unfortunately, these incidents occur late at night when people are alone and in dimly lit areas.
Additionally, it appears that the victims were taken aback when these events occurred.
These incidents have raised significant concern within the local community and law enforcement officials have pledged their support to find an effective solution to help curb further incidents like this.
