Personal Statement
I'm 6'0 and approximately 176 lbs, I am currently training to increase both my speed and agility but run a 4.57 40 time. During my junior year I rushed for over 1600 yards and over 2000 all purpose yards for the season, I was on all VYPE team, and received 1st team All-State. I have been a Varsity team starter since my freshmen year and have a lot of experience on both offense and defense sides of the ball. I was one of the team captains during my senior year, and believe in maintaining a positive and competitive outlook and being a team player. My team has gone to 3rd round of the play-offs for all 3 years since I've played on varsity, we also won a conference championship my senior year. I had a set-back during my senior year due to a foot and ankle injury early in the season and did not have a great deal of field time. During this time I assisted the coaches and have since made a full recovery and I am eager to be on the field again. I've always wanted to play college football and have worked very hard to get to where I am. I have a great love for the game, I work hard, I play hard, and believe I can be an asset to the game on a college level. I have a few areas of interest for my college major but have not narrowed my interests down yet. I am not particular on what size of school I attend, I believe in leaving areas of opportunity open to explore in that respect. I come from a single-parent family and I am the youngest of 4. We are a tight-knit family, I have a lot of support and encouragement from my Mom and we have applied for and qualified for some financial aid thru the FAFSA program. I look forward to hearing from you as I have a great desire to continue to play, and it would be an awesome experience to play college football.
