Personal Statement
Every kid dreams about becoming a professional athlete, but not all kids realize all the hard work that needs to be put in to make this dream a reality. I know what needs to be done to play at that next level. I am very dedicated and committed to soccer. I have had family who have gone through this process, and I also talk to my coaches who are helping me begin this process. I may not be the tallest on the field, but I play like I am. I am very aggressive, and competitive. I know what I am going to do before I get the ball. I get wide and open up the field when attacking. I make overlapping runs, resulting in crosses into the center, and creating possible goal opportunity's. When defending I can read the game. I have an idea of what the opposition is going to do, and where they are going to play the ball. I will sacrifice my body to save a goal. I am a team player. I understand that the best plays and if someone is better than me, then I will work my tail of to be better, stronger, faster. My academics are very important to me. I understand that academics come before sports, and that I can't just get into college with my athletic talents.
