Eric Mabius is an American actor with a net worth of $3 million. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in April 1971, Mabius studied film at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. He made his acting debut in the independent film Welcome to the Dollhouse in 1995. Mabius is best known for his role as Daniel Meade in the series Ugly Betty from 2006 to 2010. He has also had recurring roles in The L Word and Eyes.
Mabius has appeared in several films, including Cruel Intentions, The Crow: Salvation, and Resident Evil. He won a Golden Angel Award at the Chinese American Film Festival in 2013 for his supporting role in Shen qi. Mabius was also nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards for his work on Ugly Betty.
Outside of acting, Mabius was an honorary captain of the United States luge team at the 2010 Winter Olympics. He also appeared in the pro-Obama music video “We Are the Ones.” Mabius married Ivy Sherman in 2006, and the couple has two children.
