Dylan Harper and Cooper Flagg had people talking during the McDonald's All American Game on Tuesday night.
The former, a Rutgers commit, went off to the tune of 22 points, five assists, six rebounds, a block and a steal en route to winning co-MVP honors alongside Maryland commit Derek Queen.
"My teammates trusted me," he told ESPN at halftime after putting up 14 points in the first half alone. "If I get going, I think I'm very hard to stop."

Harper—who is the son of former NBA player Ron Harper and the No. 3 overall player in the Class of 2024, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings—certainly had folks on social media impressed:
Steve Politi @StevePolitiSo far, the McDonald's All-American Game is a straight-up Rutgers infomercial. Dylan Harper has been the best player on the floor.
cr7santos @Nahumsantos1If Dylan doesn't win MVP, then the system is clearly broken. This dude is a scoring machine on the court, constantly putting up numbers and making big plays. It's crazy to think anyone else could deserve it more. Dylan Harper is the real deal and deserves all the recognition he…
hailey @singyoursoul154Dylan's skills on the court are unmatched. He is truly a force to be reckoned with and deserves every bit of recognition. If he doesn't take home MVP, then something is seriously wrong with the system. Keep shining, Dylan! #MVP #BasketballGenius #DylanHarper 🏀💫…
Ryan Hammer🔨 @ryanhammer09Dylan Harper so smooth. Don't often see his combo of size with skill & vision at the 1 spot. Very Cade-esque
Yamz @yamzislifeDylan Harper is league bound!
Flagg, the top overall prospect in the Class of 2024 who is heading to Duke, undoubtedly had some highlight moments on the night:

He had a more muted night than Harper overall, however, finishing with eight points, six rebounds and three assists. While he didn't put up huge numbers, some fans still saw his potential:
Keith Williams @KDW7906Seen what I needed to see with Cooper Flagg. He does some of everything. Oh man he's going to be great for our program. Excited about the whole class.
Dirty Money Lee @chowlee_bitchCooper Flagg will be a difference maker for Duke on the defensive end
mill @MillfamillIf you're lookin for Cooper Flagg to be the best scorer, you're evaluating him wrong . elite 2 way player with great vision at 6'9 and amazing passing abilities . Has room to grow with the jumper
Brian @BrianBevo10Cooper Flagg does so many little things correct. Even if he doesn't score. Elite vision for a PF, even if it's an all star game.

Duke needs to be looking for shooters in the portal. Flagg needs to be surrounded by them to unlock his full potential.
Flagg and his supporters would argue that his statistically tepid game was offset by his team earning the win. Either way, both Harper and Flagg had their respective future programs feeling pretty excited about the future.
