Mark Curry uploaded a lengthy video on his Instagram showing the confrontation with two employees of Colorado Springs Hotel on December 10, 2022.
He accused the two employees of The Mining Exchange A Wyndham Grand Hotel & Spa of Colorado Springs of racial discrimination. The man blamed them for racially profiling him and explained the scenario.
According to Mark, he was sitting in the hotel lobby enjoying his coffee when an employee who identified himself as security personnel asked him if he was a guest. The comedian refused to answer, but the man did not leave him alone.
After the employees disturbed him for a long time, he went on to the front desk as the respective personnel asked him if he was a hotel guest. Sharing the profiling incident on social media, Curry captioned that a man of his race couldn't possibly get a room there, but he had a suite.
On further explanation, Mark revealed that he refused to answer since the employees only asked him when 300 more people of fair complexion were enjoying their drinks and food in the lobby.
Following the rise of the incident, the hotel management issued an apology letter and also informed about refunding the comedian's stay and providing a free stay to the man any time in the future, as reported by People.
