Personal Statement
I personally have had a lifelong passion for the game of baseball, and have worked hard to better my skills not only for myself, but my teammates I play with. People have described me as humble, as I don't like to brag about my skills, I'm just here to play the game and win alongside my teammates. I don't pick fights and I'm very reserved, overall I am very relaxed in my demeanor, and it's unlikely anyone would not like me on a team. Through athletics, what I may lack a little in raw talent I make up for with my work ethic and attitude; I am very coach-able and will not have a problem with what a coach recommends or tells me to do. I am not a vocal leader, but I like to set an example and standard for my other teammates to follow, and I believe I’m very influential that way.
Academics wise I have a 4.0 GPA in the classroom, it is very unlikely any coaches will have to worry about my performance in the classroom, I consider myself respectful to my teachers and peers, and I always put forth my best work and effort in the classroom.
Overall, I have no bad qualities that would prove detrimental to a coach or teammates that I am with, my academics are spot on, and I have the ability to play at the next level and elevate a team to success.
