Brian Keith Payne – Metropolitan Funeral

Brian Keith Payne also known as “The Washing Machine Man,” “Fred,” and “Fat Chicken Nugget” passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 51 in his hometown of Norfolk, Virginia after a lengthy battle with heart failure. Despite his battle with serious medical issues in recent years, he handled them valiantly and with a smile. Regardless of the pain, Brian remained strong to the end.

Brian spent 30 years being undoubtedly the best father and supporter ever and 7 years as an amazing grandfather, which was his favorite role in life. He was also a residential know it all, who provided help to numerous people, family and otherwise, over the years. Brian had an amazing presence and was extremely influential in the lives of so many people.

Brian preceded in death by his mother Belinda Payne and is survived by his granddaughter, Bailey Scott and his two daughters Breanna Scott-Payne and Zina Scott-Payne. Brian is also survived by his sister Tina Payne-Brinson and his three brothers Brandon Payne, Barrett Payne, and Chris Payne. Lastly, he is survived by his life partner, Cynthia Reid and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
