Personal Statement
My plans after high school have always included college. I love football and as I watched my older brothers be recruited I begin to hope I could combine my love of football with my goal to attend college.
I have played varsity football for 4 years in a small town in North Florida. This year I am a team captain. In a small town, everyone knows who you are, especially when you are 6 ft 5, 330 pounds. Expectations are high for what I can do but none are higher than what I expect from myself. I expect to go to college, play football, improve as a player and a student, and make a difference for my team.
One of the first things people say about me is that I am very responsible. My mom says I am an old man in a young man's body. I am not late, I am the last to leave the field, and I can be relied on to practice hard. My coaches state I am very coach able and hard working. My work ethics helped me make the Florida State Weightlifting Finals in my first year of weightlifting and I am working hard to do so again this year.
I am very interested in playing football at the college level and would appreciate the opportunity to do so.
