BMC Helix Event Management Starter Service

What you get:

BMC will perform the following in one environment:

  • Conduct a workshop of up to two days for requirements gathering
  • Configure:
    • Up to five local users, two groups and two roles
    • Up to fifteen event management policies from the following policy types: enrichment, notification, blackout, suppression, or filtering
    • Configure integration with BMC Helix ITSM for automated incident creation with default mappings.
    • Configure up to three unidirectional inbound event integrations
    • Configure up to two basic Dashboards with three panels each in Grafana for Event Management Policies. Basic dashboard includes out of the box plugins and excludes variables.
    • Knowledge transfer/walkthrough session (up to two hours) as per customer environment. Session recording will be shared.
  • Prepare Construction Document
  • Prepare Test Plan

Customer will be responsible for:

  • Providing requirements on event management use cases
  • Provide required access and privileges:
    • For event integrations
    • To BMC Helix ITSM for incident creation
  • Conducting functional testing

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • Construction Document

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.
